Selling with Shelly's House may sound complicated at first but it's really pretty simple!
As a consignor you will be able to set all of your own prices for your items and track your sales, choose whether or not each of your things will be discounted on Half Price Day, and, you will have the choice of whether or not any of your unsold items be donated to charity or if you would like to pick them back up.
*Consignors will pay a $10 non-refundable consigner fee, which can be paid in cash during item drop off or deducted from your profit check at the end of the sale.
*You will make a 60% commission on all of your items - unless you become a higher tier consignor.
*There are no minimum requirements to be a consignor - but the more you consign the more you can earn, and don't forget your level-up perks when you consign more items!
~ Online Registration ~
There are several spots to register (or sign in) to the item entry database on our site -they all lead to the same spot- where you can create your online account. When your account is created you will be able to:
- Enter each of your items and price them what you would like (all items do not have to be entered at one time) - PLUS easily choose if you would like to donate unsold items after the sale or you pick them up & if your items will discount on Half Price Day.
- Choose a time to drop off your items at the sale.
- Print your auto generated tags that have been created when you enter things.
All that's left is to attach your tags and drop off your items. For assistance on items and tagging visit our tabs at the top of the page under Consignors Guide labeled What We Accept, Item Prep, and Tag Tips.
~ Item Drop Off ~
- Before you arrive, schedule a drop off appointment on the home page of your consignor account. It will be labeled "Check-In"
- When you arrive to drop off you will need to check in with us. We will go through a small screening process of your things to be sold just to be sure there are no forbidden items. Then, if wanted, your personal escort will help you quickly add your items to the sales floor.
- Finally you will get your early shopping pass and that's it!
Please keep in mind that if you are picking up any unsold items that you will be responsible for locating your items on the sales floor (they WILL NOT be presorted for you).
